My Journey to UX

Hi, I’m Nouraht (pronounced Norah)

I will now tell you the journey I went trough to come to UX Design.

My education was set back when I relocated from Germany to UK before my secondary school exams. I first seked a medical profession after college because I wanted to help others. But I quickly discovered that my passion was design, where I could activate my creativity and motivate change. I discovered via creative experimentation that design is more than just aesthetics, it's also about communication and problem-solving, from poster design to product branding. I came to user experience design as a result of this path, fusing love of creating captivating, user-friendly solutions with the meticulousness of my medical background. I'm delighted to continue developing my UX abilities and taking on new challenges in university because I'm dedicated to ethical design.

Summary

The Law of is a Gestalt psychology principle that's fundamental to UX design, providing intuitive and reliable interfaces. Designers group elements with similar visual characteristics to reduce cognitive load, encourage recognition, and ultimately create seamless user experiences. This principle plays a huge role in improving usability, accessibility, and user trust in digital platforms. But what follows in relation to UX Laws and Psychological Principles is that a very fundamental and usable tool in UX Design is going to be the Law of Similarity. Basically, the latter indicates a relation by pointing out similar groupings using corresponding visual attributes.
